<p><a href="http://www.nipntuck.com/liposuction/index.htm">Cosmetic liposuction
surgery</a>, also known as lipoplasty, lipo-sculpture or body sculpting is a
surgical process of removing fat from the the body. Liposuction procedures help
plastic surgery and cosmetic surgery patients that have locallized fat collections
that can not be lost via traditional weight loss methods. Liposuction surgery
is done for both men and women and is often referred to by many terms including
lipoplasty surgery, lipo scupture and body scupture. Lipoplasty surgery is the
process of "vacuming" these fat deposits that have accumulated under
the skin. These fat deposits generally are left after significant or drastic
weight loss that occurs after pregnancy, adolescence or with natural aging;
these fat deposits may appear as locallized bulges and protusions. Lipoplasty
removes these fat deposits by essentially vacumming the fat from under the skin.
Once surgery is performed on an area of the body fat generally does not return.</p>
